MEDIA ADVISORY: Texas A&M System Board of Regents to Meet June 15, 2009

NOTE TO EDITORS AND NEWS DIRECTORS: The Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System will meet Monday, June 15, at 9 a.m. in the board meeting room of the Memorial Student Center on the campus of Texas A&M University in College Station.
The board will convene in open session to consider the following item and receive two reports:
- Approval of Board Committees and Special Appointments
- Financial and Academic Metric Analysis for The Texas A&M University System
- Review of Shared Services Opportunities for The Texas A&M University System; and Recommendations for Consideration and Action on Shared Services Initiatives
The board will recess to executive session to consider legal and personnel matters in accordance with state law.
The board will reconvene in open session to consider and possibly act on the following items:
- Recommendations on and any and all other things involving Shared Services Initiatives
- Appointment, Employment, Evaluation, Reassignment, Duties, Discipline or Dismissal of Executive Level Officers and/or Employees of The Texas A&M University System
- Authorization for the Chancellor to Enter into Agreements By and Between The Texas A&M University System and Executive Level Officers of The Texas A&M University System
