Texas A&M University System Board of Regents to hold special telephonic meeting April 2

March 30, 2012

The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will hold a special telephonic meeting Monday, April 2 at 8:30 a.m. in Suite 3104 of the Interdisciplinary Life Science Building, located at 301 Old Main Drive on the campus of Texas A&M University.

The meeting will convene in open session and immediately recess to executive session. The Board will reconvene in open session to consider action on the following items:

  • Possible action authorizing the chancellor of the Texas A&M System to take all actions necessary to submit a revised proposal to the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (HHS/BARDA) in response to HHS Solicitation Number 11-100-SOL-00011 titled “Centers for Innovation in Advanced Development and Manufacturing” and to execute the contracts described in such proposal;
  • Appointment of vice chancellor for academic affairs, Texas A&M System;
  • Approval of naming of facilities at Tarleton State University and the Texas A&M Memorial Student Center.
