A&M-Texarkana president C.B. Rathburn resigns

NEWS RELEASE
August 2, 2012

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Dr. C.B. Rathburn III, president and CEO of Texas A&M University-Texarkana, has resigned. Rathburn was named president of A&M-Texarkana in July 2008, and has overseen major developments in infrastructure and student population. He will remain in the Texarkana area and attend to personal matters.

Dr. Keith McFarland, former president and faculty member of Texas A&M University Commerce, will serve as acting president.
