“It has been my honor to serve as a member of this board and I look forward to continuing our hard work and commitment to the Texas A&M University System and the people of Texas,” Adams said.
Thomas is the owner and Chairman of Thomas Petroleum LLC, Speedy Stop Food Stores and C.L. Thomas Inc. He was appointed to the Board of Regents in 2011 and serves as chairman of the Board’s Policy Committee and special athletic liaison to the A&M System members.
“Texas A&M has taught me the value of integrity and excellence in my life and the opportunity to continue giving back in this new role is humbling,” Thomas said.
