Media Advisory: Texas A&M System Board of Regents to Hold Special Telephonic Meeting Dec. 12

COLLEGE STATION, Dec. 10, 2013 – The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will hold a special telephonic meeting Dec. 12 at 2:30 p.m. in the Board of Regents annex of the Memorial Student Center on the campus of Texas A&M University.

The meeting will convene in open session and immediately recess to executive session. The Board will reconvene in open session to consider action on the following items:

•     Authorization to execute a ground lease for construction of an engineering research laboratory in the Texas A&M University Research Park and a lease for the engineering research laboratory building to be constructed – Texas A&M Engineering Experiment Station; and

•     Authorization for the president to negotiate and execute a new employment contract with the head football coach – Texas A&M University.
