Kelley Sullivan Georgiades Joins Texas A&M University System Board of Regents

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Kelley Sullivan Georgiades, a native Galvestonian and rancher, was confirmed by the Senate today to join The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents.
“The Board is delighted to welcome Kelley Sullivan Georgiades to its ranks, ” Chairman Bill Mahomes said. “Her experience and expertise will bring new insight and perspective as the board provides strategic direction to the Texas A&M System.”
Sullivan Georgiades is the executive vice president of Sullivan Brothers Family of Companies and co-owner of Santa Rosa Ranch and GKG Land and Cattle, a commercial cow/calf and equine operation.
She is also a board member for the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the Texas A&M University Press, as well as a delegate for the Council for Agricultural Research, Extension, and Teaching. Sullivan Georgiades additionally serves as international committee captain for the Houston Livestock and Rodeo and a former executive board member for the Texas Beef Council.
“The Texas A&M University System impacts the lives of my fellow Texans every day and it is an honor to join the board and set the vision for the next century,” Georgiades said. “It will be the greatest privilege to give back to this special place that has given so much to me.”
Sullivan Georgiades earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas A&M University in 1992.
Governor Greg Abbott appointed Sullivan Georgiades Feb. 26. He also reappointed Regents Jay Graham and Mike Hernandez to continue with new six-year terms.
