Media Advisory: Texas A&M System Regents to Meet Thursday

The Texas A&M University System News Release

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas —The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will convene at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, August 26, in Room 1124 at the Texas A&M Transportation (TTI) Building, 1111 RELLIS Parkway, Bryan. The board will immediately recess to executive session.

The Board will reconvene at 1:30 p.m. in Rooms 1107-1109 in the Center for Infrastructure Renewal (CIR) Building, 1041 RELLIS Parkway, Bryan, for the public portion of the meeting.

The Board will consider:

  • Approval of Fiscal Year 2022 Operating Budgets, Texas A&M System
  • Approval of System Capital Plan for FY 2022 – FY 2026, Texas A&M System
  • Naming of Sole Finalist for the Position of Director, Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory, Texas A&M System
  • Authorization for the President to Negotiate and Execute New Employment Contracts for the Head Baseball Coach, Head Football Strength and Conditioning Coach, Associate Athletics Director – Football Director of Operations, Assistant Football Coach – Tight Ends, Assistant Football Coach – Wide Receivers, Assistant Football Coach – Offensive Coordinator, Assistant Football Coach – Offensive Line, Two Assistant Football Coaches – Defensive Line, Assistant Football Coach – Running Backs, Assistant Football Coach – Secondary, and Assistant Football Coach – Linebackers, Texas A&M
  • Authorization for the President to Execute an Employment Contract for the Head Basketball Coach, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi
  • Appointment of Interim Vice Chancellor for Research, Texas A&M System
