The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents to Meet November 10
COLLEGE STATION, Texas — The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents will convene at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 10, in the Board Meeting Room in the Board Annex on the Texas A&M University campus, and immediately recess to executive session.
The Board will reconvene in open session in the Bethancourt Grand Ballroom 2300 D&E in the Memorial Student Center at approximately 1 p.m. During the meeting, the Board will hear a presentation regarding a strategic opportunity for Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Texas A&M University-Kingsville and will consider action on agenda items, including the following:
- Authorization for the President of Texas A&M University to Negotiate and Execute a New Employment Contract with the Head Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Coach
- Appointment of President of Texas A&M International University
- Appointment of President of Texas A&M University-Commerce
- Naming of Sole Finalist for Agency Director of Texas A&M Transportation Institute
- Approval of the Project Scope and Budget, Appropriation for Construction Services, and Approval for Construction for the following:
- West Campus Support Building Project, Texas A&M University
- Biocontainment Research Facility Project, Texas A&M University
- HVAC Replacement at Mosher Hall Project, Texas A&M University
- Addition of Instructional and Support Spaces Project, Texas A&M International University
- Nursing and Health Sciences Building Project, Texas A&M University-Commerce
- Medical Research and Education Building 2 Project, Texas A&M University Health Science Center
- Multipurpose Building 3 Project, Texas A&M University-Central Texas
- New Campus Electrical Substation and Capacity Upgrade Project, Texas A&M University
- The Gardens at Texas A&M University Project, Texas A&M University
- Waterfront Events Pavilion Project, Texas A&M University at Galveston
Meetings of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System are open to the public except for any posted executive session held in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.
